our favourite!!!!....simple dishes come with great dining experience!!!

the 'famous and humble' gulai ikan restaurant....located near the Langkawi International Airport roundabout...Langkawi's believe it or not...this 'famous' restaurant does not has any name!!! only e locals n 'those who know' know where to find this fabulous 'kedai makan'...

since our first discovery, we never failed to dine here whenever we visit the island...A Must!!!

another 'tempat wajib' for us..a very simple set up of 'kedai makan' or stall..under Msian cherries trees and by the seaside of coz..not to mention 'angin2 sepoi bahasa'....and really2 near to the airport take off field....while ur filling up ur tummy with these 'hidden treasures'...the plane flies on ur head (but not that close...hehe..) it was really a superb dining experience!! the best time to 'lepak' here is after 'Asar....

us....at Pantai Cenang....MH first encountered with yours truely white sandy beach and of coz u can swim in it....(coz in here...we live near by the sea...but its not a wise thing to get wet in that freezing cold water!!) MH was so excited and couldn't care less what was going on around him..hehehe

was here...in this wonderful island....

one of the visit...accidently met my "long lost sister" Kak Riang Riya......we had a great time together exploring the island and other islands as well....

though i had travelled few places....n covered few tourist attractions....this special island will always be the top of my list....it might not be the best white sandy beaches in Malaysia...and it might not be the best shopping heavan on earth....but the island has something special and dear to my heart...ala2...jiwang gitu...ahaks....

it feels like yesterday when I first set foot on the island....I was standard 6 back then, my parents brought us for school holidays....together with us were also our 'family friends'....but the most exciting holiday we had was on the 2nd visit...only 7 of us...we took small boat and went for island-hopping....after that, my sisters and I went here by ourselves during school/uni breaks since my parents were very busy and cant make it....

if ur wondering where we went for our honeymoon vacay??? yeahh...the island for sure!! and since then, almost every year whenever we have 'rezeki'...the island is our 1st must destination to chill.....
