Merdeka15..Ohh balik kampung
Salam Hari Kebangsaan semua....
Mesti uols semua baru je lepas beraktiviti di hujung minggu yg extra satu hari sempena Merdeka..long weekend...x kisah lepak umah ke, jln2 pusing Malaysia ke..balik kampong ke...I bet many had their relaxing time during the long weekend ;) we all went back to Perlis/Kedah..apart from visiting and leparking with our parents, we attended our cousin's wedding in Kedah. Kitorng gerak balik on Wednesday earlier, because my abang had work in Bertam, Penang till Friday. We stayed in Swiss Inn Hotel in Sg Petani for two nites. Not bad for a hotel which had it glory days few years back. A bit run down tho but well maintained and excellent services. A little refurbishment will bring back to it glory days. We stayed in a junior suite which comes together with a huge private jakuzzi at a very reasonable price. Room was spacious and HUGE where the two kids can ran amok keliling bilik and they wont bumped into each other (bigger than combination of our living hall plus main bedroom)...hahahaha....Eventho, the interior was not up to date and mind you, the cupboard was almost falling apart if you try to open them...hihihi...other than than, OK n not bad for RM250 junior suite! Swimming pool compensate it all..big swimming pool together with kids pool plus the SLIDE!
Ok laa...then off we went to Perlis on the next day...stayed there for 2 nites..n later on Sunday afternoon after the kenduri, we checked in into TH (Tabung Haji) Hotel in Alor Setar near to Istana Anak Bukit and the airport. I am impressed actually with the hotel. Got 2 separated swimming pools for gentleman n ladies. Facilities tip top..The room is nicely decorated with modern touch. Food served during breakfast were great and variety. tho, we were given a room with broken pipe and tv channels were blurred in the first place. Later, we were given another room after the complaints. Not only us stayed in the hotel, but abah and the rest of No 18 clan too stayed in the hotel. Abah 'belanja' us n it was more like a family gathering. Kids lompat n lompat in the pool. while adults leparking n borak2...even tok stayed in the hotel too ;)
Cuma on the way back to KL tu, stucked in the jem..hahaha...bila yg highway PLUS x jem? even jln dlm pun jem! it took us almost 13 hours, the journey from a.setar to cheras...sbb mengada nak ikut jln dalam, ala2 back to the old style...arrived home at 3.am. hmmm but it never hinder us from balik kampong lagi...x serik2...kikiki....yang penting, dpt spent time dgn lovelies...muaaaahhh......
